In the historic center of Gallipoli, Palazzo Presta is a residence reimagined as a boutique hotel by Maison P, conceived as an ode to travel and its evocative power. The project integrates contemporary elements within the layered architecture of the original structure. Spread across multiple levels, the rooms each express a distinct identity through textures and materials. Cement tiles, layered plasters, custom furnishings and archival fabrics compose a visual narrative that spans time and geography. Each room is a map. Each detail, a destination. Local artisans contribute to the spatial character. Beds, lamps and finishes reflect a design language rooted in place yet open to the world. The spirit of travel emerges in objects, colours and tactile surfaces throughout. Outside, the terrace and rooftop with sea view extend the experience. Glazed pots, palm trees, local stone and Corten steel form a landscape in suspension, between memory and vision.
