In the heart of Milan, the common areas of the Radisson Collection Hotel Santa Sofia are reimagined as a journey of discovery. MaisonP, together with Alessandro Mario Cesario, creates a hospitality experience shaped by movement and perspective, drawing on the spirit of international clubs and a refined sense of urban comfort.
Volumes and views alternate fluidly. A green palette leads the eye, evoking the iconic Milanese trams and taxis of the Sixties. From the lobby onward, materials become narrative tools: mirrored marble, jacquard textures, deep velvets, striped wallpapers and burnished metals compose a layered spatial language.
The cocktail bar opens into the former courtyard and dialogues with the original architecture by Studio Marco Piva. Curved seating, bespoke furniture, carpets and custom lighting define a space that feels both public and intimate, with Anglo-Saxon and South American cues. Every element is designed by MaisonP and produced by Concreta, interior contractor for bespoke hospitality solutions.
On the fourth floor, a raised open-air swimming pool accessible via a wooden platform marks the final chapter of an experience shaped by intimacy and openness, elegance and function. Here, every space speaks the same language, made of light, texture and memory.
